The Wedding Day

Day 2

The Wedding Day

The Heart of It All

9:00 am

Breakfast Buffet

French toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, home fries, fresh fruit and muffins. Coffee, tea, juice. The morning unfolds slowly.

10:00 am

Activities

Diving into the lake, hiking in the woods, riding the zipline, paddling out to the islands, or catching a ride in a sailboat. Your guests are free to play, explore or simply relax on the dock.

12:30 pm

Lunch Buffet

Soup, salads, make-your-own sandwiches with a full spread of meats and toppings, veggie platter, cookies and squares.

1:30 pm

Afternoon Activities

More time on the water or on the land. While guests are welcome to enjoy all the activities, they are also just as encouraged to read a book or catch up with an old friend overlooking the lake.

3:30 pm

Rest Hour

An old camp tradition. A deliberate pause before the ceremony. Guests drift back to their cabins to rest and prepare, as the forest settles into a quiet calm.

5:15 pm

Wedding Ceremony

The Slope — Tamakwa's iconic tiered outdoor seating area at the water's edge, with the wedding party at the lower deck and guests rising naturally above. The lake opens before you as vows are exchanged at golden hour.

5:45 pm

Hors D'oeuvres

Shrimp cocktail with cocktail sauce/oysters**, three-cheese platter, passed canapés including prosciutto-wrapped melon, vegetable samosas, chicken satays, antipasto. Enjoyed lakeside as the sun dips below the treeline.

7:30 pm

Wedding Dinner

The historic Dining Hall. Arugula salad, caprese, baked potatoes. Choice of Atlantic Salmon, Carved Strip Loin of Beef, or Roast Chicken. Pies and fresh fruit for dessert.

12:00 am

Late Night Snack

A choice of wings, pizzas, nachos, or s'mores. The dancing continues.
